Ned Goodman, Co-Chair
Ned Goodman founded Dundee Corp. and its subsidiary Goodman & Company Investment Counsel Inc. Dundee Corp. is a Canadian holding company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol “DC.A”. Through its operating subsidiaries, Dundee Corp. is engaged in diverse business activities in the areas of its core competencies including investment advisory and corporate finance, and private equity investments in real estate, infrastructure, energy, resources and agriculture. Mr. Goodman has over four decades of investment experience as a securities analyst, portfolio manager and senior executive. He has an established reputation as one of Canada’s most successful investment counselors. Mr. Goodman holds a Bachelor of Science degree from McGill University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Toronto. He earned the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst in 1967. In 1997, he was awarded a Doctorate of Laws, honoris causa, by Concordia University, and was appointed Chancellor of Brock University from 2007 to 2015. Mr. Goodman is founder and benefactor of the Goodman Institute of Investment Management – a graduate school for investment management at Concordia University. In 2012, The Goodman Family Foundation established both the Goodman School of Business at Brock University and the Goodman School of Mines at Laurentian University.
Rick Renaud, FCPA, FCA, Co-Chair
Richard J. Renaud is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of TNG Corporation (Renaud family office) and Co-Chair of Dundee Sarea LP. He has worked actively in private equity, focused on workout situations in Canada and the United States for over 40 years. Sectors of investment include manufacturing, financial services and information technologies. Mr. Renaud founded Dundee Sarea with Mr. Ned Goodman. In 1999, prior to Dundee Sarea, Mr. Renaud co-founded Wynnchurch Capital, a top quartile private equity firm. He was a general partner and Chairman at Wynnchurch until June 2013. Mr. Renaud was also involved as an investor, board member and executive with AMJ Campbell (1977-1980), Radiomutuel (1982-1999), Canstar (1988-1995) and Weider Health & Fitness (1987 as a director and 1993-1996 as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer). He is presently a member of a number of corporate and not-for-profit boards, including Android Industries, Concordia University Foundation and St. Mary’s Hospital Center (Board of Governors).

Mr. Sam Ramadori is a private equity investor and turnaround specialist skilled at identifying investment opportunities, executing transactions through formal and informal restructuring processes, and taking interim leadership roles with companies undergoing turnarounds. At Brookfield Special Situations – a distressed-focused private equity fund with over $2 billion in assets, Mr. Ramadori held senior operational and investor roles and as well as several board of director positions in both public and private companies. Previously, Mr. Ramadori was a management consultant at Bain & Co and practiced corporate law at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. He holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business and LL.B and LL.L degrees (law) from the University of Ottawa.

A senior operations executive with significant P&L experience in Canadian, European and Australasian operations, Mr. Barry Downing has created over his career significant realized value for shareholders, while positioning the companies for long-term success. Over 13 years, Mr. Downing served as VP Operations Australasia, VP Operations Canada and VP Operations Europe for an international management consulting firm before assuming a turnaround role at Concert Industries. Mr. Downing has extensive experience working in entrepreneurial and large corporate businesses, both public & private equity-owned. His senior executive experience has included strategic leadership roles in operations, sales, purchasing, and business management, with a demonstrated global track record of successful turnarounds in various industries. Mr. Downing has held numerous board positions in private and public sector entities. He is a retired naval officer with degrees in Administration and Strategic Studies from Collège Militaire Royal.

Mr. Rafik Greiss brings over 30 years of financial and operational leadership experience in client service firms to Dundee Sarea in the role of Managing Partner and Chief Financial Officer. Having served as a senior partner and a managing partner, in a Big 4 and a national accounting firm, Rafik’s international experience includes financial reporting, business risk management, finance, business valuations, M&A, divestitures, carve-outs, restructuring, financial assessments, due diligence and financial forecasting. He has also assisted companies with finance transformations. His experience covers a broad array of sectors and geographies. Recognized for his integrity, objectivity and strong sense of corporate governance, he has been a director on numerous boards, and currently serves on the board of the Integrated University Health and Social Services Center of Montreal West Island, an $800 Million entity which includes three hospitals and several other health centres.
